Priyanka Chopra returning to South film industry after a decade

Ten years after debuting in the Tamil film industry withTamizhan, Priyanka Chopra is returning to South with Telugu remake of Hindi filmZanjeer. Besides working in the Bollywood remake, opposite Tollywood star Ram Charan, PC is also doing the film’s Telugu version, according to reports. Both the versions are being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Confirming the news, Priyanka said, "I will be shooting forZanjeerin Hindi and Telugu simultaneously." Her spokesperson added, "Priyanka will start shooting for her portions in the film from this month. The Amitabh-starrerZanjeeris being remade in both Hindi and Telugu with a different set of cast, and she will be playing the lead in both. Technically, this will be her debut in Tollywood."
