Raashi Khanna To Sing For 'Balakrishnudu'

The Delhi-born actress, Raashi Khanna, has been roped in to sing for Pavan Mallela’s upcoming film, ‘Balakrishnudu’. She will be seen singing for the leading lady, Regina Cassandra. This would be the second time that Raashi will lend her voice for a peppy number.

Even though Raashi wasn’t entitled to play the lead in the film, director Pavan Mallela was keen to have her sing for the movie. He said, “After toying with a few concepts, we have zeroed in on a peppy track. Raashi loved the concept and agreed to sing it. I believe her husky voice will add to the song’s charm. Moreover, she has already sung a couple of times and is a confident singer. We recently recorded the track and it has come out well”.

The movie is a romantic entertainer and is produced by B Mahendra Babu. It stars Nara Rohit opposite Regina Cassandra in the lead. The music for the film is scored by Mani Sharma. ‘Balakrishnudu’ is set to floor its audience with its release on September 23.
