Rahul Ravindran To Don Director’s Hat

Rahul Ravindran entered the movie business to become a director. However, destiny has something else for him and he got offers for playing the role of lead actor in movies. He made his debut as an actor with Tamil flick Moscowin Kavery in 2010 and since then he has done many movies in different languages and has established himself in the industry. The actor will now don the director’s hat for his next flick and will live his dream of becoming a filmmaker.

He will make his directorial debut with a flick that will feature actor Sushanth in the lead role. The actor is both nervous and excited at the same time for his directorial debut. Talking about how he thought of it, he said, “A few months ago, when Sushanth and I met, we got talking and he mentioned his desire to change track and try something new. He shared that he was looking for a story that was realistic and sensible. That’s when I told him that I may have something. I’ve had this story idea in my head for nearly nine years now. We discussed it, and in no time, we were on”!

However, the genre of the flick is still unclear. Rahul also heaped praises on Sushanth by saying that he is perfectly fit for the role. He added, “To be honest, I haven’t watched any of his films but I know him personally and want him to bring his real-life personality into the film”.
