Rashmika Mandanna Replaces Lavanya Tripathi In Vijay Deverakonda’s Next

Actress Rashmika Mandanna is all set to take the place of Lavanya Tripathi in Vijay Deverakonda's next. After Lavanya Tripathi left the film the Kannada actress was approached to play the lead character in the flick, which she has accepted. The film, which is under the banner of Geetha Arts production, will be directed by Parasuram.

It has been heard from a source that after actress Lavanya quit the film, the team started searching for a replacement. Meanwhile, many names came up but the makers decided to keep Rashmika as they felt she is a perfect fit for the role mainly because she is a fresh face. The 21-year-old actress recently took to her Twitter account to share her excitement.

The actress tweeted, “Happy to sign the film with Vijay Devarakonda in Parasuram's direction. Thanks to producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas”. At the work front, the actress is working in debutant director Venky Kudumula's rom-com as the lead actress, where she will be romancing actor Naga Shaurya. Further, the film’s lead actor Vijay, who is celebrating his recent film Arjun Reddy’s success, will start shooting for the flick soon.
