Rashmika Mandanna To Dub For Herself In Chalo

Rashmika Mandanna entered the movie business with Kannada campus romantic comedy film Kirik Party, which was helmed by Rishab Shetty. The film became one of the highest grossing Kannada film and was reported to have a dream run in Hyderabad. The film also fetched her SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress.

The actress is now occupied with a couple of films and Venky Kudumula’s Chalo is one of them. The actress was earlier not good in the language but is now so fluent with it that she will dub for herself in the film. As per a source, “She has gotten so good with it that the team decided that she should dub for herself. They are quite happy with the output”.

Talking about her struggle with the language initially, the actress said, “Adapting to Telugu was a bit confusing initially due to the similarities with my mother tongue, Kodavatakk. I used to end up saying the Telugu words in the way they are pronounced in my language. But I have become familiar with Telugu now”. The film stars Naga Shaurya as the male lead.
