Reports of Anjali replacing Anushka in Bhagmati are false

Sources have quashed away all reports related to Geethanjali actress Anjali replacing Anushka in the upcoming film Bhagmati, directed by Ashok. Anjali signing a project with the same director made rumours mill high which are not true at all.

A source close to the deal said, “This is far from the truth.Bhagmati with Anushka in the lead is on schedule. Anjali has been roped in for another movie with a fresh script and there is no question of one actress replacing another.” Another source apparently close to Anjali further cleared the air and said, “Anjali was surprised to hear all the reports. The film she's shooting has nothing to do with Anushka and it has a fresh storyline with a different backdrop. Since the director for both the movies is the same, people might have gotten confused and thought Anjali has replaced Anushka.”
