Rudhramadevi undergoes new production schedule

Director Gunasekhar’s Rudhramadevi, which is a historic film in 3D, has been in the making since last few months and now it has reached an important stage. After a brief break in the shooting, a new schedule has begun in Annapurna 7 Acres Studios yesterday.

Till date the shooting was mostly going on inside the studios apart from a certain scene which was shot near Kuntala waterfalls. The schedule, which started yesterday, is being shot in 'Veera Mantapam' set which has been exclusively created by art director Thota Tharani. This sequence is said to be one of the most major parts in the film. As told by the director, "As per the historical records, Veera Mantapam or Aashtana Koluvu, like it was called in those days, is the place where Rani Rudhramadevi used to take crucial decision with other rules from different parts of India.” This schedule will continue till April 5 comprising Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa, Adithya Menon and others on the board. The film is getting ready to release this June.
