Sampath Nandi Clears The Air Gopichand Playing A Double Role In 'Gautham Nanda'

Fans are to witness Sampath Nandi’s booming success with his upcoming film, ‘Goutham Nanda’. The movie that stars Gopichand, Hansika and Catherine was initially rumoured to have the male protagonist play a double role (one being negative). However, recently the director came upfront and cleared the air on the same.

Sampath said, “It’s a character with two shades. To find himself, the protagonist sets out on a travel. That’s when the other shade comes in. There is also no negative role”.

The film will have the Catherine and Hansika play the roles of Mugdha and Spoothi. The directed said, “Spoorthi means inspiration and the protagonist gets inspired by her in the film”. The film was inspired by an episode in a book by Ramana Maharshi.

The movie is jointly produced by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao under the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media and is set to release on July 21^st. The music for the movie is scored by Thaman S.
