Sekhar Kammula Is Confident About Fidaa

Sekhar Kammula is a high-flying filmmaker in the Tollywood industry. His directorial debut fetched him the National Film Award for Best First film of a director. The ace filmmaker is now back in action with Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi starrer Fidaa.

Talking about the film, which is all set to hit the theatres on July 21, Sekhar said, “I have already watched the film thrice, and I am sure everyone will watch it twice or thrice too. I wanted to make a love story this time and the idea was in my mind from long. Since I went to the US many times, I have a special attachment to the place, and decided to do a film with such a backdrop”.

The film’s trailer released last month and it crossed 6.6 million views in a few days. The filmmaker is very confident about his release and said that Varun’s last flop would not affect the business of Fidaa. The flick has been extensively shot in US.
