Serial on Jagapati Babu's Life

Vattikuti Vamsi Chandra is planning to start a new television series. He has also finalised the title ‘Samudram’ for his new tele-serial. It was confirmed by him in a press release that the serial is based on the life of actor Jagapati Babu, well-known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, few Tamil and Kannada films.

Vamsi Chandra stated, “Jagapati Babu has reached the top and has also faced rough times in his career… he has always come back stronger”. The director further added that “Jagapathi Babu is going to reveal many incidents that happened in his career and life in the serial”. The actor started his career by playing lead in the movies but he struggled initially. 

Son of popular director and producer, V.B. Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi is now a sought-after character artiste of Tollywood. He is currently busy shooting in UK for an untitled movie that also stars Jr. NTR. In total the actor starred in 120 feature films and went through many ups and downs in his life.
