Shriya Saran Says Balayya Is Her Lucky Charm

The upcoming flick titled ‘Paisa Vasool’ will star Balakrishna and Shriya Saran in leading roles. Shriya’s last project was ‘AAA’ where her performance went under the radar. Recently, the actress spoke about her upcoming film and shared that her co-star Balayya is her lucky charm.

This will be the third time Shriya will be working with Balayya. When asked if Balayya was her lucky charm, she replied, “It’s unfair to say that I’m a lucky charm for someone who has done more than 100 films. He is my lucky charm!” The actress also spoke about her role in the film and said, “I look to reinvent myself through interesting roles and scripts. I play a journo and my character also has a backstory to it… like how she meets Balakrishna”.

Shriya was recently seen in ‘Nakshatram’ where she gave a guest appearance for an item song. Talking about the song, the actress said that she decided to go for it because she liked the script and the song was part of the narrative. The Drishyam actress has also signed ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’ where she will be playing the role of a cop.

‘Paisa Vasool’ is scheduled to release on September 1.
