Tamannaah Talks About Queen Remake

Director Neelakanta is all set to launch his Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit flick ‘ Queen ’ starring Kangana Ranaut . The remake will have Tamannaah playing the lead role. It will be launched today in Hyderabad.

Tamannaah recently spoke about portraying the lead character in the film and shared that she can relate to the core ideology of Queen as she is a lot like her in real life. Talking about taking up the role, the Baahubali actress said, “I want to focus on doing films that put emphasis on mature screenplay as well as women oriented scripts. I’m very drawn to the state of self-discovery as every woman goes through different stages of realization and at times you want to sit back and reflect back on your life decisions”.

Tamannaah also praised Kangana for her performance in the original and said that the Bollywood actress was perfect for the role. She is currently working on her film with Kalyanram. Tamannaah also has a Tamil project titled ‘Sketch’ lined up where she shares screen space with Vikram.
