    Theaters going 3D for re-release of Rajinikant’s Sivaji


    Ahead of the release of the 3D version of South megastar Rajinikanth's blockbuster filmSivaji, majority of the theaters in Tamil Nadu are ensuring that their screens are 3D-enabled. According to M S Guhan of AVM Productions, there were 65 3D screens in Tamil Nadu and 50 more screens are being converted into 3D. "We will ensure thatSivaji 3Dwill release in as many screens as possible," Guhan said, adding, “Remember it wasSivajiwhich set a new trend in Kollywood in 2007, by releasing simultaneously in a number of theaters”.

    The film is being re-released in 3D on December 12, which is also the birthday of the superstar. In the Shankar’s directorial film, Shriya Saran plays the lead heroine’s role and music is given by A R Rahman.
