This Actor Wins Most Popular Actor Award

Stylish Star Allu Arjun needs no introduction. The actor makes girls go weak in their knees with her charm and personality. The actor did just one film last year, Sarrainodu, but that came out to be a blockbuster film. The action-masala film written and directed by Boyapati Srinu received mixed reviews by the critics but was a box office success.

The actor was recently awarded for his performance in the film. Allu won most popular actor award for the year 2016 for his performance in last year released blockbuster movie Sarrainodu. On May 14, the annual Sakshi Excellence awards function was held at the JRC Convention Center, Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

On a related note, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming release Duvvada Jagannadham which will release on July 7. The film is being shot under the direction of Harish Shankar, the film will be bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Just after one week of the teaser being released, it crossed 8 crore views and has now soared the expectation from the film.
