This Is Why Rahul Ravindran Is Grateful to Sushant

Actor Rahul Ravindran is all set to make his debut directorial, where he will be directing actor Sushant. Recently the actor said that he is grateful to Sushant for having faith in him, as this film will be his first directorial. The film is set to go on floors in November.

The debutant director also revealed the reason for choosing an upcoming actor like Sushant. He said, “I may be a familiar face as an actor but I'm yet to prove myself as a director, right? So, it's the other way round”. He further added, “I'm really grateful to Sushant for reposing his faith in me”.

Speaking about Sushant's entry to the film’s cast, he said, “It was quite accidental, to be honest. I met Sushant at a function and during the course of our conversation, he said he had so far done films which he had been 'told to do' and was looking for something which was hatke and close to his heart. I then happened to narrate a line to him which he liked very much. It's a rom-com and based on a real incident in my friend's life”. Meanwhile, the pre-production activity of the film has begun and other details related to the project will be announced soon.
