Thiyagarajan Search For His ‘Queen’ Continues

The known director Thiyagarajan who had brought the rights for the remake of critically acclaimed flick ‘Queen’ has been struggling to sign the lead character. The role was impeccably portrayed by Kangana Ranaut in Vikas Bahl’s 2013 movie. Now, the reports are that Nayanthara has refused to play the iconic character. 

Reportedly, the Thani Oruvan actress had issues with the date, thus she had to let go the offer. Nayanthara fans are currently awaiting the release of her forthcoming movies Thirunaal and Idhu Namma Aalu. The shooting for both the films have been already completed and are briskly through their post-production stage. 

Previously, actress Samantha had rejected the offer for the same role. However, the Eega actress had other reasons to distant herself from the flick. She had told during an interview that she suggested changes in the script, which was not accepted by director Thiagarajan.
