Venkatesh To Play An ‘Original’ Character In Premam ‘Remake’

In an interesting revelation, Remake King Venkatesh who is said to playing a crucial part in Malayalam remake Premam may not be playing a different character altogether. In other words, a different role has been crafted for the veteran star for Telugu Premam. The flick will have Naga Chaitanya in the lead character and gorgeous Shruti Haasan.

“Venkatesh plays an interesting cameo in ‘Premam’. His role is not part of the original. However, the makers of the Telugu version introduced a new character which they feel will work well with the audiences”, revealed a close source to the unit.

The flick is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti, where other stars to appear in the film are Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian. The music has been given by Rajesh Murugesan and Gopi Sunder, who made soundtracks as per three
stages of romance in the life of lead character.
