    Vijayendra Prasad Reveals How His Idea Developed For ‘Srivalli’

    Vijayendra Prasad, who is also a renowned writer, is gearing for the release of his upcoming directorial venture Srivalli. The film is a scientific thriller with a love triangle and is going to hit the theatre screens on September 15. The story of the film revolves around a girl, whose name is the title of the film.

    Talking about how the idea of writing script for the film aroused, the writer said, “My good friend Ramesh and I studied in Vijayawada. After I settled in Hyderabad, I didn’t meet him for many years. In 2010, on Vinayaka Chaturthi, I thought of him and decided to see him and went to Vijayawada but he was no more. His mother showed me his diary that had an entry saying he thought of me on the same day as I did! How is it possible that both of us thought of each other on the same day? My film’s subject comes from this very thought".

    The director further talked about his son S .S. Rajamouli’s interest in Mahabharata and revealed that he likes wars. He said, “It’s possible that just for the wars he will make the film”.Moreover, on the work front, the writer cum director has written the screenplay for ‘Mersal’, which is set to release on October 18.
