V.V. Vinayak Compensates Distributors For Loss Incurred By ‘Akhil’

The debut film of Akhil Akkineni ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ bombed at the box office. The producer of the film, Nithin suffered a loss of more than Rs. 20 crores. And, the distributors were after Nithin, asking him for the compensation.

Nagarjuna intervened and told the distributors that they would be compensated. He requested them not to trouble Nithin. However, they could not keep their cool and started pressurising the producer again. This time the director of the flick V.V. Vinayak came forward to rescue him. According to reports, the director returned Rs. 3 crores to the producer and also repaid a crore each to Vizag and Krishna distributors.

The director has made a great gesture by returning a part of his remuneration. Reports suggest that the other distributors were promised that they will be compensated by the earnings of the next film of Vinayak or Nithin. Let’s hope that the next films of the two perform at the box office.
