Have you seen the 'Greatest Show On Earth'? If not, see this movie. It wows you. It charms you. And then it wows you some more. If you have been reading any of my reviews, you would know that I am a big critic of movies in 3-d. But not this one. I went for it with my little nephew and my jaw dropped lower than his. And my being a fan of the Madagascar series had nothing to do with it. I just felt warm, fuzzy and woozy inside.
On the flip side, the film lacks the humor and wit of its predecessors. But what the film lacks in terms of writing, it makes up in visuals. Also be prepared to see less of your favorite characters like King Julian and the Penguins. But then again you can never have enough of these guys.
All in all, I have to say this is one of the best films to have come out this summer. The kids will love it and for all you big kids out there, do yourselves a favor and venture into this one. As Alex says in the film, when humans have passion- they become animals. Unleash yours.
