Maqbool Khan does his debut with Lanka and surely does a promising job. Story is shows a vulnerable relation between Ravan and Vibhishan, where a powerful man exploits women sexually. Movie on the whole can be appreciated in parts like it starts with the correct note as with 30 Mins of it run time you will understand the basic plot of it but after that it seems to be dragged and becomes boring.
Manoj Bajpai left no place for any mistake, he nailed it once again! His performance as BhaiSaheb is top-class. The he portrays his character is always appreciated and leaves a mark. ArjanBajwa did a commendable job and stood very well next to Manoj Bajpai. Tia Bajpai was at her worse as always and looked so expressionless. Another thing that works in favour of the movie is its storyline and direction. Dialogues in first half are not that appealing but other half they are way better and impactful.
The climax is impressive and the way story unwraps itself makes it interesting and keeps the viewers stuck on the screen. Music could have been better and also the cinematography. Though the movie has got nothing new about it but still the A-grade performances, good story telling and crisp direction makes it a onetime watch.
