Recipe for a great evening:
1 large tub of popcorn, preferably mixed
1 large fizzy drink with lots of ice (for brain freeze purposes)
A huge tablespoon of expectation of seeing nonsense
A very base level of humour
Warning: Do not add any sense of logic, reason or try to stir in any of your cleverness into the mixture. It will curdle immediately and you will have to throw the whole thing out which will be a pity.
Ok, that about more or less sums up Housefull 2. A totally mad caper from Sajid Khan and I would have expected no less from him. The entire bunch of actors from Daboo to Zarine Khan has a ball in this movie and then to add to the craziness you have Ranjeet going Baby, baby, baby. Akshay is finally back in form as a comic guy. Only Boman Irani is underutilized. Or maybe he is too sophisticated for this kind of tomfoolery.
I fully recommend this movie. Its perfect for the hot summer days when the sun has already made you light headed and dizzy. Go right ahead and laugh your head off. And yes, you can take the kids. They may not get it all but Ritiesh getting bitten by a crocodile on his butt will be enough for them.
