Madagascar 3 is a mediocre movie. There is nothing very new about the story or the way it has been told. I guess after the fresh feel of The Lorax, this one was bound to make me feel a bit jaded. The 3D is made good use of for a change and I enjoyed that bit surprisingly.
The jokes are a steady stream but I think kids only above 9 years of age or so will enjoy them. For the younger ones, it will be just the colours and the main basic story that is enjoyable. I guess its ok to take the kids but dont blame yourself if you find yourself yawning.
