Kapil Sharma checks in with Aditya Roy Kapur about his wedding plans: 'Dhoop mein kahin aapki jawaani ka kapur udd jaye'

Aditya Roy Kapur arrived on the Kapil Sharma Show to promote his upcoming film OM: The Battle Within along with co-star Sanjana Sanghi and makers of the movie. In the latest promo of the comedy show we see Kapil Sharma asking the actor to spill the beans on his friend Ranbir Kapoor ’s bachelor party.

Ranbir Kapoor married his girlfriend of five years, Alia Bhatt in an intimate wedding ceremony at home. The couple later hosted a select few friends from the industry to a reception bash and Aditya was amongst those who attended.

Kapil asks Aditya on the show, “Ranbir ne beech mein kaha tha ki agar mujhe shaadi se pehle bachelor party karne ka mauka mile aur mujhe 3 logon ko bulna ho toh unmein se ek Adiitya honge.” Comedy then asked him if the party happened and the OM actor revealed, “Hua hi nahi party, I am still waiting.”

Ranbir had named Aditya, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Kahn as the three actors from Bollywood he’d like to invite to his bachelor party in an old interview. Aditya and Ranbir are close friends who worked together in Ayan Mukherji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani .

Kapil also nudged Aditya in the direction of marriage now that Ranbir has tied the knot and joked, “Aapko nahi lagta hai, aapka dost settle ho gaya hai, garmi bohot pad rahi hai. Dhoop mein apki Jawaani ka ‘Kapur’ udd jaye isse pehle aap bhi …”

The joke didn’t get any response from Aditya about his wedding plans but he did laugh out loud at Kapil’s joke.

OM: The Battle Within which is an action film will arrive in cinemas on 1 July, 2022. The movie has been directed by Kapil Verma.
