There is a deep rooted myth about Bollywood that it is a movie industry all about song and dance sequences. A much as we love song and dances and as big a part the songs are of our films, they certainly are not the essence of Bollywood’s story telling. Songs a major attraction in our movie and we rarely see any films without them, so much so that when we sat to count how many our films had no songs at all we only could come up with a handful of those!
