“6-5=2 is an illogical and un-watchable horror film by any standards. Skip it. ”

Although I love watching horror movies, this Kannada remake was far from giving me much jitters or goose bumps. It is no more than a failed inspiration of the Hollywood movie Blair Witch Project. Debutant director Bharat Jain has not been able to bring out the thrill quotient present in the original.
A group of friends went camping in the forest where they observed some supernatural presence which doesn't like being visited by. Strange occurrences take place with the members and the evil power surpasses their collective strength. They keep on dying one by one and only one of them survival remains. How that happens is the whole storyline of the movie.
There are a lot of logical errors in the movie and the screenplay ends up being a chaotic representation of what could have been a great movie. The director/producer has a shortage of funds which is clearly evident from shoddy make-up and special effects. Although with a runtime of 100 minutes, some good editing could have worked wonders as it seemed too long.
The new star cast is just average with Prashanta Guptha giving a consistent performance. All the other actors are inexperienced and it reflects from their limited acts.
In all, it is a good try but with a potential to be a far better movie in the horror genre.
