Yester years darling Govinda appears after a long gap. This in his maiden home production.Sorry to say,the attempt seems to be misfired. There's no novelty in the subject, the performances are listless, song numbers are forced and the screenplay is awful. The only achievement,if it can be called so,is that the movie under review got released at all. Just for the record what's the 'plot'? Govinda ( as a self obsessed cop Ravinder Verma) is a one many army.He single handedly handles the criminals, the molesters, the corrupt politicians and even the judicial officials. His mantra is " Abhinay Chakra'.What it means is though unclear. It seems to be a philosophical and an abstract idea to tame the ills of the society.Being the producer he's in every frame and hogs the limelight. All others only give listless fleeting appearances.Nearly all are those who are out of the radars of film producers .The list is a long one.It includes Murli Sharma,Ashutosh Rana,Makrand Deshpande,Surendra Pal,Harish,Chandrchur Singh,Dinesh Hingoo,Himani Shivpuri and Achyut Potdar.Offcourse the comic action film has it's customary six dance numbers choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and Govinda in his typical Bhawan Da type mannerisms.Govinda hasn't changed with times whether it be the theme of his style of dancing. Nothing much to recommend except to say that AGH is 'old wine in old bottle'.Avoidable.
