BUMBOO is a story based on the idea that in this life we all meet someone who comes and screws it all up. Each character in the film screws someones happiness leading to some extremely humorous situations.

“Even with a plethora of veteran comedians, Bumboo fails to bring in adequate laughs. By the end, the film gets so boring that you actually feel like you’ve been bumbooed.”

Comedy, like any art has to be inborn. Either you have a talent for it or you dont.

The makers of Bumboo are clearly not gifted by the Gods with this talent. And yet they persist in trying to make a comedy. The result, a plot that is puerile, situations that are forced and so much ham acting that you feel you have been bludgeoned on the head with a huge hammer with a label that says LAUGH.

The story revolves around a scamster who is in police custody for fraud, a hitman who is hired by some goons to kill the scamster to prevent his leaking information, a fat suicidal man who is pining for his ex wife, an irrirating waiter in the hotel where the gunman and the suicide prospect are holed up and some more assorted characters. A lot of idiotic situations arise from this bunch being on a collision course with each other till the movie thankfully draws to a close.

I will safely ask you to step aside when this movie is passing by, look the other way and pretend it does not exist. That is the only way to save yourself from getting bambooed.
