Diwale is a Rohit Shetty directorial that brings together the ever loved jodi of SRK and Kajol. The action comedy also stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan who plays Shahrukh's younger brother. The film is set to hit the screens on December 18th.

“SRK-Kajol cannot always work magic, a cliched script like this can sometimes undo them.”

The Good: Shahrukh and Kajol, no surprises here. Gerua Reprised was the most fun Ive had. And that Rohit Shetty ne zindagi mai filme dheki hain. Foremost GUPT.. The Bad: He didn't see more than two minutes of GUPT so we don't go further down that (more fun) track.
The Ugly: And that Shetty can continue to take the most gorgeous scenery and put a lurid car on it. And when he isnt happy with that a fluorescent sari. Reducing the best of what the world can offer us to that two dimensional "scenery" people would stick in their drawing rooms once upon a time.

Dilwale is silly at the best of times, but that it wastes such great talent (did I tell you about Johnny Lever) is just plain stupid.
I will still recommend a weekend outing for Dilwale, just for Kajol's sardonic eyebrow, and Varun Sharma's tirade against multiplexes and probably films just like Dilwale.
Also Kajol ki wo red lipstick. And the paths not taken.
