I really have no clue from where and why to start as the movie has nothing to be told. It seems that the script is written just to make audience feel more rejected to this sensitive subject rather than accepting it. It starts by introducing you to a Christian family who pretend to be close to each other but in fact theres no bonding between them. To top it all their accent and dialogues are so irritating that you will actually feel like walking out of theatre before intermission.
Honestly there is nothing good about the movie. I really 'Dunno Y' I even watched it!
Ending doesn't make any sense as after all those hard-feelings the entire family starts forgiving each other. The biggest set-back were the transitions, for instance out of the blue 'Peter (Kabeer Bedi) come back to his family as he wanted to spend his last days with them' Or 'suddenly Ashley ( Yuvraaj Parasher) turns out to be gay'! As a viewer you won't be able to understand that 'what was the real purpose for making this movie', as certainly after such a bad narration director Sanjay Mishra cannot expect the audience to accept homosexual relationships.
No doubt Indian audiences are open enough to accept this bold subject but frankly film-makers only shocked the viewers as this theme could have been screened in a far better way. Sanjay Mishra should have taken few notes from "Broke Back Mountain" before even trying his hands on such a strong subject.
To make the movie look even worse we have the stars speaking in English, which except Zeenat Aman no one handled properly. Everything in the movie is so lame and senseless that its tile should have been "Dunno Y- I made this movie".
I really don't know whether Director Sanjay Mishra and Writer Kapil Sharma were trying to spread awareness or were trying to make fun of this bold subject.
Footer: Please DON'T go for this one as even if you support gay rights DO NOT GO. The subject which should have been screened in a crisp manner has been portrayed absurdly. My half-star is only for Zeenat Aman who played her bit effectively.
