Titled after a hit song of Karz,EHT EDT is the nth version of the punar janam genre. This genre hardly engages any more. It's beaten to death. An imposter is added herein. The plot? A nobility has won a case in it's favour to aquire an abandoned property( a mansion) in a foreign land.Sunny( Upen Patel) and Natasha ( Natasha Fernandez) are set to get married in this property. All's going as per the plan until a mysterious character( Dev aka Deodhar, played by Shiv Darshan ,in his in house film) enters into the proceedings.Whose he? Though a commoner,is he for real or a spirit? What are his intentions.? Go see for your self. The climax reveals this and much more. Any positives'? Hardly any except for Natasha making her presence fealt in debut and one scene where the mysterious character reappears after being put to sleep. Also, the imposter intending to appropriate the property is revealed in the climax, though clues to others being thought of shown. The negatives? Plenty.Touted as the return of the first half of Nadeem - Shravan Jodi in the music department ,is a bit let down.Nothing to humm.Palak Muchchal and Yaseer Desai hiss in the parting notes though they have perfect filmi vocals to be heard. They must learn to control their breath while singing.High flown Urdu dialogues are spoken throughout when none is profiled to know the language. That too in a foreign land.Barring two party songs, the other four only lengthen the reel time. The script never allows any to shone. The presentation is such that no segment of the audience would be engaged. All in all,EHT EDT could be avoided.
