“A dazzling star cast, appreciable performances and tons of laughter! Unlike its prequel, Housefull 2 and its dirty dozen successfully entertain the audience throughout. A one-time-watch at least!”

If youre someone keen on watching brainless comedy then Housefull 2 undoubtedly is the film you ought to watch this weekend. As rightly pointed out by Sajid Khan during the release of the first part, Housefull is not meant for critics. Likewise, I would like to point out to all fellow critics; Housefull 2 too is definitely not intended for critics.
Revolving around familial rivalry between two step brothers Chintu and Dabbo, Housefull 2 is two plus hours of nonsensical comedy, with a confused plot. The two brothers decide to end their enmity by declaring theyd get their daughters married off to a wealthy businessmans son. Begins confusion in the form of Jolly, the millionaires son; not one but four; out of which three are JD's sons and finally the real Jolly. Madness increases as the real girlfriends of the fake Jollys, Parul and JLo jump into the mad house.
What I like about Sajid Khan is, he entertains his audience, doesnt matter how he does it but he succeeds in this process. He presents a mumble jumble of characters merged with silly PJs, some funny some awful, in a bid to make a mad cap entertainer. If theres a book on PJs then the producers of this film could be sued for plagiarizing every PJ from it
Everybody in the film exaggerated in their roles, including the senior artistes. The actresses barely get their share to showcase any talent for acting. Zarine and Shazahn play brief roles while Asin delivers a noteworthy performance. Malaikas item number is a treat for all those who liked the song even before the release of the film. She woos sensuously with her curvaceous body.
Direction, as I mentioned earlier is better than the prequel however definitely not outstanding. There are scenes that nag and scenes that will make you regret your decision of watching this film. On the whole, watching this film is completely at the discretion of the viewer but not in the words of any critic.
