Every film reviewer dreads the days when he or she has to sit through a monstosity in the name of a movie so bad that recovering from it takes months. Ishqedaariyan is a fine example of that nightmare.
Luvleen is a teacher by profession and wants to collect donations for her grandfather's school. Why? We don't care. This journey introduces to Aagam Diwan, a millionaire and Arjun, a passionate singer. Sparks fly? We don't care. they are drawn into a love triangle. Yawn. What happens next is the rest of this misreably sad movie.
I mean agreed, one does not expect any thing from a film starring Evelyn Mimoh in the lead. Yet, the film goes much beyond the low expectations and ruins your day. Evelyn can't act come what may. Mahakshay's acting abilities are as confounding as his name. Mohit Dutta adds into the absolute mayhem in the acting department. Direction, cinematograpy, editing, story, screenplay, every department rivals the acting in reaching depths of mediocrity. The music is perhaps the only thing in the film that keeps you from suiciding. Avoid. At any cost.
