Welcome To Boredom !

The first question that comes to your mind is what was the need to make this movie in 3D ? 3D does not hide the lack of story. Take away Diljit Dosanjh's spirited "spirit" comedy and this movie has absolutely below zilch to offer. There was huge build up before the movie that this is a movie shot in a live award function and what you see is sarkari documentary style shots of film stars clapping between scenes.

The movie and characters are predictable and shallow. In fact for the first time Sonakshi who usually gives her best even in most average movies looks bored and jaded from inside though she is trying to put up a cheery performance. There is of course a noticeable chemistry between her and Diljit but unfortunately the director's confusion between being a satire on film industry to trying a romcom the movie reaches nowhere.

Frankly Sonakshi Sinha needs to move back a bit and think what kind of scripts she is signing. The Mumbai media will never acknowledge this but at the ground level she is a superstar and with such movies she is diluting her own very popular status. It is better to do just one Dabangg sequel in three years than to appear in such third class , politely put, garbage movies. The only good thing about this movie is two hummable songs Ishtihaar and Nain Phisal Gaye.

Thankfully the movie is just about two hours so you do come out with your reflexes intact.

Half a star because as usual team Desimartini won't let me give a zero !
