This is a dramatic chain of events in the most glamorous ,swinging era of Hindi films...the 1960s. It was a decade when film stars tasted success and carried their larger than life screen image on to real life with unbridled pomp and splendour. It was during this time that two ambitious films were made...Ujwal Nirmal Sheetal ...more

“Shoddy scripting and awful acting especially by Himesh Reshammiya. The murder mystery lacks intrigue and the music and the costumes don't appeal to the senses. This Xposé is hollow.”

The Xpose, seems like the celluloid depiction of UPA2's performance in the past couple of years. So much promise, what talent at the helm and then.... Matlab kiya hosakta tha and kiya hogaya.

So Reshammiya stays off the carbs for the role of a UP cop turned South Superstar WITH SO MUCH ATTITUDE, and sadly what we have is a gaunt faced "suit on hanger" who seems like he will die for a kebab roll and randomly shoots off one liners. We have Adil Hussain and Irrfan Khan who must be wondering Asal Expose Ang Pradarshan tou hamara hua. Seriously why did they agree to put their names on the marquee for this peurile project? And if they did why couldnt they take a page from Ravi Kumar's (Reshammiya) book and speak their own dialogues hijacking a film to suit their vanity.

So Ravi Kumar and cinematic glory are the two bones of contention between Bobble Head One Chandni (Zoya Afroz) and Bobble Head Two Zara (Sonali Raut). One is virginal and the other will get on with it to get on in life. No surprises which one is which. There is also Yo Yo Honey Singh and we now know he can not only do sleaze as well as he can sing it but that he has a receding hair line ,oh hai. Bobble Head Two goes tumbling down a parapet one day and the whole film is supposed to be a  lazy stylized who dunnit but sadly the film makers stopped caring long before we did. So cut for holiday vacation shots of Reshammiya looking soulful by the Seine.

The film picks up speed when the Bobble Heads Two go all out in a catfight and the denoument close to the credits have you going Oh Kaassh! Why couldnt they have.concentrated on what happens next instead...Seriously it is UPA 2 all over again. Kiya Se Kiya Hogaya.

What I may suggest..and what I will look forward to, is a series of The Adventures of Ravi Kumar...seriously we need a slap stick crime solver WITH SO MUCH ATTITUDE.
