Yaara Silly Silly (could have definitely not been spelt any other way) to begin with is a curse to all your senses. Starting with your brain of course. The film oscillates between bad and worse and no, you don't see it getting better.
The plot of the film revolves around a soft-spoken, decent man Soumitra Roy (Parambrata Chatterjee) who spends a night with Mallika (Paoli Dam), a call girl. That night changes everything for them. Bringing in question the idea of twin souls; quite different from the idea of soulmates.
The film has an interesting plot, but it leaves you with nothing but a headache and loss of time and money. An attempted love story looks more like a failed attempt at erotica with absolutely no spark between the lead actors. Parambrata pulls off a misfit simpleton, but Paoli Dam gets intolerable. The music of the film is quite forgettable. And the camera keeps getting back to focusing on bare legs and cleavage shots along with looks of lusty men.
The plot loses it's scope with stereotypes drifting in with portrayal of a call girl's ability to have emotions of a woman after taking the avatar of the 'Desi woman' clad in saree and in the company of a decent man.
