Andhadhun Review- Don't miss this mysterious flight

ek different topic ke sath movie ko bnaya gya hai, isme kuch extra karne ki kosis nahi ki gyi aur sath hi sabhi actors ne apne apne role ko ache se nibhaya hai, director ne har actor per ache se kam kiya hai . logo ka dhyan nhi tutega kyuki movie logo ko band ke rakhti hai. movie me music bhi acha hai.... ek chote bagat ki movie hai per kam bde bde kiye hai....

Andhadhun = Andha+ dhun= Blind person + tune .So we have a blind person ( Ayushmann) who plays tunes on the piano. On one of his walks on the road he meets a young girl ( Radhika Apte) who feels sorry for him and soon enough he has an affair with her.Further discussion on the plot is bound to bring in spoilers and I find some reviewers have let out the plot.( In any case it is difficult to talk about this film without disclosing vital parts of the plot). So here goes.Ayushman is actually not blind but faking it as a part of some experiment he is doing for himself since he feels that he will be able to concentrate more on his music in the absence of sight. Since he can actually see and for other characters in the film he is blind, he unwittingly becomes a witness to a murder while he is on the piano.This happens while playing at the residence of Anil Dhawan and his wife Tabu. He sees that Tabu with the help of her policeman lover have murdered Anil Dhawan and are in the process of disposing off the body. He feels compelled to report the crime to the police. Shocking incidents follow one after another in quick succession leading to a thrilling climax.Director Raghavan has a penchant for developing scenes which shock you and amuse you by turns as he unfolds the plot with its twists galore. A few scenes are really scaring.This is one movie which gives you shocks and twists every 10 minutes or so as it takes you on a rollercoaster ride. A few other characters provide the suspense as they turn nasty some time after being helpful to Ayushmann. Music plays an important part of the film both as background score and in the foreground since the protagonist is a musician.Ayushmann plays the lead role with conviction and belief. Tabu springs a surprise in a negative role and is impressive. Radhika Apte doesn't have much to do in this role and is just passable. The supporting cast has done well.This film will be liked by those who like suspense, shock, comedy and thrills.

Andhadhun is one the best bollywood mystery movies. Tabu, Radhika Apte and Anshuman have played their characters extremely well and did justice to them. The movie keeps you over your seat's edge most of the times and thrill is maintained throughout the movie. The climax is surprising. It is a fun treat for mystery lovers !!

A treat for thriller aficionados, Andhadhun is going to keep you on the edge of your seat for the whole time with twists occurring every 10 minutes in the film.Aakash (Ayushmann Khurrana), a blind pianist finds himself embroiled in the aftermaths of the murder of a famous former movie star. Unable to report the crime for nobody would believe a “blind” man to have actually witnessed it, the film has a series of twists and turns which will keep the viewers hooked to the very end. Is there more to Aakash than what meets the eye? Who is blind- the characters or us? There’s a lot that only movie will speak of. Or maybe, even it won’t.Having a knack for classic neo- noir films, Sri Ram Raghavan, after highly critically acclaimed film Ek Hasina Thi (2004), has given Bollywood one of its best thriller gems. Crime thriller coupled with black comedy, Andhadhun is rhetorically asking the viewers, “Should we believe what we see?”There’s always more than what meets the eye and Andhadhun is a perfect example of it. With complete twists and turns happening every 10 minutes, the viewers are left guessing and gasping in astonishment. Just when towards the end, they would take a sigh of relief that they have finally figured out everything, Andhadhun will yet again prove you wrong. Easily having one of the best climax in a Bollywood film, Andhadhun will make the audience leave the theatres full of questions. The ending of the film is open to multiple interpretations and we already have multiple theories flooding the social- media.You can never fully recover from the film as some questions will always be left unanswered.Ayushmann Khurrana has yet again proved his versatility and given his career’s best performance till date. He is a delight to watch. Cunning, shrewd, at times- vulnerable and helpless- Tabu has pulled the character of Simi with finesse. The supporting cast too did their part perfectly well taking the film to a higher notch.The composers did a commendable job in accentuating thrill and suspense in the film. Filmmakers have created a masterful piece of Cinema with Andhadhun and it becomes a must- watch to witness something we’ve never seen before.

Taut, slick, hold your breath genre- all this and much more sums up Sriram Raghavan’s latest Andhandhun. Starting with the very innovative title with all puns intended, the film is a bite your nails, clench your fist thriller. With performances that leave you wondering at the sheer audacity of the existence of bland star kids like Janhvi Kapoor etc. Ayushman Khurana is at his best as the once not blind and then blind musician. absolutely nailed his role. In the second half, when Tabu actually makes him blind, Ayushman Khurana’s acting is par excellence. He portrayed the desperation and the helplessness of his character brilliantly. While Tabu sizzles the screen in her 40 plus avatar. Her character had just the right amount of sex appeal and mystery. For me, her acting skills were best shown in the scene where Ayushman is playing the piano at her house and she is scared as hell because she has murdered her husband. But the surprise package of the film was Manav Vij who played the role of Tabu’s lover. He was the killer as well as the police inspector who was handed the case. His expressions and his acting was spot on. There is a sweet note of nostalgia too with Anil Dhawan making a comeback of sorts.The film is definitely a must watch and is undoubtedly the best film of the year redefining the murder mystery genre minus the cliched, gore and creeps!
