r"r"tWhat happens when animals decide to fight for their rights and try to make humans understand the need for a peaceful co existence between humans and animals? Jungle Safari explores this idea in an extremely well made animation movie.r"r"t r"r"tA forest is being bulldozed to make a new housing complex. A cheetah gets killed in the clearing up of the jungle. All the animals decide to leave the forest. The cheetah's young cub decides that they will not leave their home and instead make humans see their point of view. Enter Alex, a filmi parrot who can talk in the human language. They decide to take Alex and go to the Parliament in Delhi to present their point of view. A motley group of the cheetah mom, the cub, Bagga the bear, Bajrangi the monkey with his two chamchas and Alex embark on the journey. The story is about their efforts to reach Delhi and convey their message of ecological preservation.r"r"t r"r"tThe movie is very entertaining though the songs tend to slacken the pace a bit. There are lots of adventures along the way and it may get a bit long for younger kids. There is an entertaining pair of Gujrati-Rajasthani flamingoes who are quite a scream.r"r"t r"r"tThe voice overs are superb. Govinda as Bajrangi the Bihari monkey is very good and Akshay as Aex is outstanding. It is a real gift if you can make the viewer guess at who the actor is doing the voice over. Boman Irani as Bagga brings a lot of himself to the role but it suits the bear perfectly. Urmila Matondkar as the mom and Sweeney Khera as the cub are competent.r"r"t r"r"tDelhi Safari is a must watch for all kids but I think if you like animation flicks this one is worth a watch for adults too. There is an outstanding scene with some bees and a train which I really enjoyed.r"r"t r"r"tThe movie manages to make you feel warm, fuzzy, emotional and gets a very important message across in an entertaining manner. Go for it!r"
