OMG Oh My God!Watch trailerRelease date : September 28, 2012

This film comes across as a one man crusade against mindless rituals and superstitions that we as Indians fall prey to. The main protagonist Kanji is an atheist who simply despises people who believe in God. The film progresses as Kanji files a case on God when his shop is destroyed and he is unable to claim is insurance due to the reason behind it’s destruction being earthquake which is an “act of God”. Enter God incarnate or, Akshay Kumar in this case, who does a brilliant, contemporary take on Krishna the God, and who slowly and gradually transforms Kanji. The movie is a bold attempt to question something that people have been following since forever. It compels us to think and question our beliefs about God and our faith in Him. Based on a play directed by Paresh Rawal, the film succeeds in raising eyebrows of purists and giving logical reasons for a man’s disbelief in so called ‘miracles’. The stellar cast adds weight to the script and one comes out humming the overwhelming melody, ‘mera nishaan’.
