Verdict - The end does stay true to the thrillers that Race Franchise is famous for, but would you really want to wait for it!

Race 3 is here. It is a Eid release this time. Well, of course, it is Salman Khan film and Bhai’s films are famous for minting enormous amounts of money during festivals and especially during Eid.
This film, that looked more like a Rozgar Yojna than a movie, had made me very skeptic ever since I saw the trailer. It had Salman Khan being Salman Khan and a bunch of other people. Because afterall Salman Khan film is Salman Khan film, none of his co-stars film. And who were his co-stars really- Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Saquib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. In fact, the only person who I was looking forward to watch, other than Bhai, was Anil Kapoor.
Anil Kapoor incidentally is also the only thing common between Race 3 and their predecessors. Starting from the cast to the director, everything had changed.
Now you would ask, how was the film? I would like to say nothing to this. I will just say the things that you will find in the film.
There’s abundance of cars right from the beginning. And to delight the audiences, Salman Khan does something more in this film- he flies. In fact, if the VFX was not bad enough, the point would be proven in the landing and fight sequence. Coupled with these are badly orchestrated fight sequences. Plot twists that barely would seem interesting until it reaches the last 30 minutes and the plot is turned upside down, high octane cars, more bad VFX and cars catching fire from nowhere. But the icing on the cake seems to be the dialogues and the song lyrics. I am yet to decide which one was worse. I will give you an example of both so maybe you can help.
Jacqueline is trying to wear her flying suit but can’t, so she asks for Salman’s help. Salman replies by saying:
    “Ab Kapde bhi main pahenaunga?”
    Song lyrics:
Weekend me partiyaan ho rahi hai
    Ek main aur ek tu
Saath me hai aur haath me hai
There is maybe another thing that can top this list of things that will disappoint you in the film and it is the Avdhi that is being spoken in the film.
Anil Kapoor was the dark horse we were looking for in the film. He acts, in the last few minutes and his acting stretch also for just a few minutes. Other than that, you will see Salman with a signature step that is turning boring, Jacqueline Fernandez posing and pole dancing and even fighting, Daisy Shah tearing her clothes and fighting and not minding her business at all, Saquib Saleem who is getting sick with Sikku, Bobby Deol trying to flex his muscles and drinking in a way thaty will make you question your ways of drinking. BTW that reminds me this is one Sallu Bhai film that has shown drinking! HAWWWWWW…. It also features a brothel where there’s lot of kink and perversion. HAWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
So all said and done you have to admit that the end of the film is actually interesting at the end. It would have been even better if you had not known that Sallu Bhai is undefeatable. The twist at the end will rekindle all your lost interest. But the million dollar is would you wait so long for the excitement?
P.S- I am not a general Salman basher if you have that in mind. I found Wanted to be super paisa-vasool. I liked the Tiger series and I absolutely loved Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But this is just a bad cinema. OK, thanks, bye!
