Rush is about the muddle in the news world and how does the life of a crime reports is torn apart in the big bad world of news business. The story revolves around the editor-in-chief of a crime news channel, where writers endorse products and cops abuse reporters for not providing ample information.

Little did Sam Grover, crime reporter of Pulse 365, anticipate that when he interviews a sharpshooter, he will get sacked because the expose sends ripples in the organization? Lisa, who runs crime 24, offers Sam a job with perks and an affluent lifestyle he dreamt of. However, Crime 24, which is owned by Roger Khanna, wants to make his channel number one at any cost. He even arranges an in house system with which the channel can tap the phones of cops.

Rush deals with a story that's been milked dry over the years. The film neither arouses interest nor engages for few minutes. Not one actor bites fully into their role, Hashmi mostly perfunctory, while the ladies shed skin and appeal one and all with glamour.

The characters are clichxe9d and uninspiring and moreover little do these characters put in any effort to make any difference.

Pritam's music is disappointing, while the camera shots are old-fashioned.

Rush, for most part is disappointing, but does have its share of slick moments of thrills and chills. But, unfortunately you don't want to spend your money and time for few brief moments of entertainment, do you?
