Verdict - A fast paced movie with a dark end. Worth a watch.

    Table No. 21Watch trailerRelease date : January 04, 2013

Table 21 is quite a good movie to watch. It starts out as being a pure entertainer before it moves on to becoming a darker movie, but still retains its gripping edge.

Vivaan and Siya are celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary in Fiji when they meet the owner of the resort, Mr. Khan, who convinces them to participate in a reality game show where they are asked some questions and required to perform tasks related to each question. The rule is “if you lie, you die”. If you answer truthfully and perform the task you win 21 crores. Vivaan and Siya agree and find themselves answering intensely personal questions and performing increasingly bizarre tasks, all in the quest for the money for themselves and more hits for the website that Khan runs. I cannot reveal the rest of the story to you, but trust me, it's intense and ugly. If the movie would have been less commercial I think it could have become uglier than it already is and that would have given it that edge which made it really hard hitting but even with the given treatment it stays with you after the movie is over..

Paresh Rawal as Khan is top notch as usual but seems a bit bored, Rajeev Khandelwal also does a good job as Vivaan and looks great as a younger person in the flashbacks. but he must modulate his voice better. Tena Desae has a wonderful voice, looks great and is pretty decent too.

This is a fast paced movie and though some bits seem juvenile and too simplistic, it all comes together in the end. Definitely worth a watch.
