Veere Di WeddingWatch trailerRelease date : June 01, 2018

Despite being not so hilarious, this movie is bravely breaking many stereotypes and tells a story in which there is a clear depiction of how strong can be the bond of 4 female friends. It is really invigorating to see women doing the work which was previously under males, likewise drinking, smoking and abusing each other openly. I am really impressed with Swara Bhaskar’s performance as a typical bold Delhi lady. However, the film really lacks a storyline but totally packed with glamour as one can get great ideas to dress up. Basically, the movie grounded on fluctuations of family, social and marriage concerns.
The opening of the movie is a nice flashback of this squad’s life. Basically, the veeres in the movie is a prototypical squad of four friends having a background in Delhi and met after 10 years on the wedding of Kareena Kapoor (Kalindi). The one (Meera) who is getting married is not sure about it because of unhealthy married life of her parents and another one has married already and has a kid too but her problems arise due to her husband who is a white guy. Avni (Sonam Kapoor)is the one who is well settled is often annoyed by her mother who wants her to marry asap. Last but the blast, Sakshi(Swara Bhaskar) who get all the limelight due to her character and the character makes her a spoiled brat who enjoys because of her rich dad.
All in all, if you enjoy and support women’s independence then you are definitely going to enjoy this movie as you will keep yourself at their places and you can relate with characters for sure. However, it could be better and interesting if it would be having a better storyline.
