Is Anurag Kashyap all set to collaborate with Amazon Prime India for a thriller?

It’s always said that one failure cannot define the future success of an individual. This cannot be truer than in the case of filmmaker cum actor Anurag Kashyap. While on one hand, Anurag Kashyap is basking in the glory and the accolades which are coming his way for his super stellar performance in the season’s blockbuster hit Maharaja, which stars Vijay Sethupathi in the main lead, on the other hand, he was equally appreciated in the Disney Plus Hotstar show Bad Cop.

Amidst all this, there is a big buzz about Anurag Kashyap all set to bounce back as a filmmaker. As per a latest report in Peeping Moon, it has been said that, the filmmaker cum actor is now all set to wear the director’s hat for a thriller which will star Aaishvary Thackeray, who happens to be Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's grandson. In other words, Aaishvary Thackeray will be making his Bollywood debut as an actor with this thriller. The thriller is being made for Amazon Prime Video.

The said report stated that, Aaishvary Thackeray will be starring along with the likes of Vineet Kumar Singh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayuub, and the veteran actor Kumud Mishra. The said project has been untitled so far.

As for the film’s plot, it is being reported to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, which is being produced by Ajay Rai and Alan McAlex under Jar Pictures. The said film, has been reportedly shot already for a month in Lucknow and, now, it is being expected to be completed by this month-end.

As for Anurag Kashyap, he will be resuming with the shooting that is pending for the Bobby Deol film, which will happen in September this year. The aforementioned news report also revealed that the said film will be a hard hitting one with Sanya Malhotra, Joju George, and Saba Azad in all-important roles. The said flick, which is being produced by Nikhil Dwivedi, has been reportedly based on a true event.
