Rajinikanth ( Shivaji Rao Gaikwad) is the Super Star of the Tamil film industry. He made his debut as an actor in the National Film Awardwinning motion picture Apoorva Raagangal (1975), directed by K. Balachander. He is a super icon for all the people in the south. His mannerisms and stylised delivery of dialogue in films contribute to his mass popularity. He is one of the most influential actor in Tamil Nadu. He has worked over 150 films. His 2010 release (Enthiran )was a Tamil science fiction. The film was released worldwide and was the most expensive Indian film ever made, ultimately becoming the highest-grossing film in India of its time.
