    On suspicion that Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan had made a hawala transaction in 2004 to import a car from Dubai, officials of Enforcement Directorate (ED) have questioned the actor on Saturday. The star was questioned for nearly 3 hours and then allowed to leave, according to reports. Saif had allegedly bought a Toyota Land Cruiser from Dubai in 2004 however the vehicle was imported to India under the transfer of residence rules by a Kerala resident named Kolangara Mohammad. The special investigation and intelligence brand of the Customs department had initiated an inquiry into the import then itself as Mohammad was an ordinary labourer and not in a condition to buy such a big car. Later it came to light that the large sum of money had been withdrawn from an account in Mumbai which allegedly belonged to Saif.
