Scotland on the other hand, who had started off well with the bat, struggled in the middle overs. They finished with just 154 runs on the board, which was surely not enough against the mighty Aussies.
Australia even went on to set a world record for the highest team score in a Powerplay during that match. With the 2nd T20I now being a must-win encounter for Scotland, the host nation will need to recover from their mammoth defeat in the first T20I and come back strong.
