Orla Prendergast and Gaby Lewis led the way in the top order as they combined for 39 runs scored, laying the groundwork. Ireland managed a respectable total despite the middle-order contributions of Laura Delany and Leah Paul, whose slow scoring pace prevented them from accelerating.
