Dia Mirza cheers for Neha Dhupia as latter completes 20 years of winning Miss india, Sini Shetty is the new reigning queen

Neha Dhupia completes 20 years of winning Femina Miss India today (July 4). The actress won the coveted title in the year 2002 and was recently felicitated at the Miss India event that took place on Sunday (July 3) where Sini Shetty won the title of Femina Miss India World 2022. Neha’s fellow beauty queen Dia Mirza took to her social media handle to share a heartfelt note for her on completing this milestone.

Talking about the same, Dia Mirza took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of Neha Dhupia being felicitated at the Miss India event. The actress can be seen giving a speech while sporting an exquisite mermaid-cut embellished light pink pantsuit attire with dramatic sleeves along with her crown. Dia captioned the same stating, “Celebrating 20 years of this fierce, authentic, strong, and beautiful woman.” Take a look at her post.

Neha Dhupia was felicitated at the Miss India event and was also joined by her parents Pradip Singh Dhupia and Manpider Dhupia. Her husband Angad Bedi and kids Mehr and Guriq too joined her at the stage which made way for an adorable and proud moment for the family. Apart from that, the Miss India Event also got its winner in Karnataka’s Sini Shetty. Shetty had earlier won Femina Miss India Karnataka 2022. Sini’s winning attire consisted of a thigh-slit grey gown. Sharing her crowning moment on their Instagram handle, Miss India’s page wrote, “World - here she comes! Sini Shetty has conquered our stage and taken over our hearts with her magnetism, charm, endurance and beauty! We’re so proud and can’t wait to see her represent India on the Miss World stage. Please give it up for Femina Miss India World 2022, Sini Shetty.” Take a look at the same.

The event was held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The jury members for the event consisted of Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora , Dino Morea, and cricketer Mithali Raj . The event will be telecasted on July 17 at 12 pm and 5 pm on Colors HD.
