Earlier this month, Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan jetted off to Spain along with his beautiful co-star Deepika Padukone for the foreign leg of their upcoming film Pathaan . Actor John Abraham, who will be seen as the antagonist in the action entertainer, also joined them on set. It was reported that the month long schedule will include many action sequences as well as a song sequence featuring SRK and Deepika. Well, the team has now finally wrapped up the Spain schedule, which was originally planned out last year.

In an interview with Mid Day, director Siddharth Anand opened up about the same and shared, “The Spain schedule has turned out beyond what we had envisaged. This film commands a massive scale, and I’m happy with what we have achieved. The fact that we could finally pull off such a schedule without any hassle is a huge feat for the production.” The filmmaker, who left the audience in awe with his previous outing War , further stated, “We intend to make it the biggest event film of India.”

Anand explained that he strives to make every film a bigger experience for the audience than his last project. Pathaan is already one of the most awaited projects of Bollywood as it marks SRK’s comeback to the silver screen four years after his last film Zero, post which the superstar took a self-imposed hiatus. Well, after Pathaan, Siddharth has two other much awaited projects for audiences-- Fighter , starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, and War 2.
